Sara Joins SFArtsED Players

January 1, 2013 | Filed Under News

In the fall of 2012, Sara was invited to join the San Francisco Arts Education Project’s theatre company, the SFArtsED Players.  Founded in 2001, The Players consists of nine- to fifteen-year-old public school students who train and rehearse with musical theatre professionals.  In February and March of 2013, The Players will be performing Bells Are Ringing, a classic musical comedy from the golden age of Broadway.

As Bells is her first show with the Players, Sara is, naturally, a member of the chorus but will undoubtedly go on to be cast in bigger and bigger roles as the years go by.  She is very excited to be working with and learning from such theatre greats as Danny Duncan, Sean Forte, Natalie Greene, and Erin Hewitt, as well as SFArtsED Artistic Director Emily Keeler.

In addition to working with the SFArtsED Players, Sara continues to study dance at Star Dance Studio and piano at the Community Music Center.
